The guitar will be shipped in a custom-made heavy-duty corrugated cardboard carton, which withstands up to 110 pounds. After 15 years of shipping high-end guitars I have never had any cases of damage or trouble. The consignment will be executed by UPS which I have had only good experiences with.

Customs will be managed by UPS and custom duties will be charged by the driver ondelivery at your door. So you won't have to worry about those procedures. For the custom tariff please call your local customs office. The international tariff number for electric guitars is: 9202 9030. The U.S. import tax for instance is 8.7% of the guitar price.

The forwarding expenses to the U.S.A. / Canada begin at €260 depending on the value of the guitar (for the transport insurance UPS charges €1 per €100 value of goods).
To Asian destinations forwarding expenses start from €380 plus transport insurance.

Within the EU of course there are no duties. Shipping rates in Europe are from €80 to €150 (for the transport insurance UPS charges €1 per €100 value of goods). Of course I ship the guitars only fully covered.
